Our Story
The Story Behind the Smoke
Texas Best Smokehouse was born from Ali Sharaf’s journey of entrepreneurship, determination, and a passion for great food.
After moving from Syria to the United States in 1986, Ali grew his first convenience store into a network of 11 locations and later expanded into the fuel business.
In 2006, he turned his entrepreneurial vision toward food, launching Texas Best Smokehouse. What began as a barbecue concept grew into a destination known for bold, authentic flavors, including smoked meats, brisket, jerky, cheeses, and a growing range of private-label products.
Today, Texas Best Smokehouse continues to combine tradition, creativity, and quality — serving flavors made to be remembered.
